How SignalBlock Works
Your key fob has two pockets, each with a different job. Slide your fob into the inner pocket whenever you're not driving, as this fully blocks the signal, preventing relay thieves from detecting or cloning it from outside your home. The outer pocket is for everyday carry while driving, keeping your fob accessible without blocking its signal.

Will this fit my vehicle?
The Outbound Core SteerLock Pro is designed to fit the vast majority of vehicles on Australian roads, including cars, utes, SUVs, vans, and 4WDs. With a 70cm cable, it accommodates most steering wheels and seat configurations. Please note it is not confirmed to fit the Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series or 250 Prado. If you're unsure, feel free to contact us before purchasing.
How do I fit and remove it?
It takes under 10 seconds. Loop the cable through your steering wheel, insert the locking end into your seat belt socket until it clicks, then turn the key to lock. To remove, insert the key, turn and press down firmly until it releases. We recommend practising the motion a couple of times without threading it through the steering wheel first. You'll get the feel for it immediately!
Will thieves be able to cut through it?
The lock is constructed from heavy-gauge braided steel with a PVC protective coating, designed to resist cutting, pulling, and tampering. No lock is completely indestructible with unlimited time and tools, but that's not the point. The visible presence of a physical steel lock causes the overwhelming majority of thieves to move on to an easier target. It's a proven deterrent that works before anyone even touches your car.
Is it easy to use every day?
Absolutely, it's designed for daily use. On and off in under 10 seconds, no tools required. When not in use, it folds down to glovebox size, so it's always within reach. Most customers fit it every night and remove it each morning without it adding any friction to their routine.
Will it damage my steering wheel or seat belt socket?
The cable is wrapped in a protective PVC coating specifically to prevent scratching or wearing your steering wheel during daily use. The locking end is designed to fit cleanly into your seat belt socket without forcing or damaging the mechanism. Safe to use every day on your vehicle's interior.
What happens if I lose my key?
That's exactly why 3 keys are included. Keep one on your keyring, one at home, and one as a spare. We strongly recommend storing your backup keys in a safe, separate location from your vehicle the moment your order arrives. In the unlikely event that all keys are lost, you will need to contact a locksmith for removal, just like any other physical lock. For security reasons, replacement keys cannot be issued, so treat your spares well.
Is it safe to leave in my car when not in use?
Absolutely. When not fitted, the lock folds down compactly and stores easily in your glovebox, door pocket, or under the seat. It won't rattle around or cause any damage to your interior. Many customers keep it permanently in the car so it's always on hand, whether they're parking at home, at work, or somewhere unfamiliar.
